Bicycle hire in Formentera
Formentera has
a comprehensive network of cycle lanes, paths and tracks making this the ideal way
to explore.
Bikes can be hired from many
specialists on the island.
Cycling enables you to visit areas which would other wise pass unseen by normal road routes.
A network of nineteen 'Green Routes' has been created, along which you can discover landscapes off the beaten track and enjoy a close contact with the nature of the island.
The Green Routes cross through agricultural areas with vineyards,
dunes and pine groves that have been declared Natural Areas of
Special Interest, panoramic views of Port of La Savina,
breathtaking coves and beaches, zones with architecture featuring
typical houses and dry stone walls.
Fishermen’s huts and docks, zones
with a wealth of vegetation, waterfowl and much more.
If you want to hire a bike, we can help advise you where the closest bike hire facility is, and if you want bikes to be waiting for you at your property on arrival, we can also arrange this for you.
All bike hire is paid direct to the hire shop when you are in Formentera.
The cost of bike hire is about 8 euros a day and depends on the type of bike and the duration of hire.
